South of North Kilworth Marina near to Bridge 43 (Nearest village: North Kilworth)
Update on 23/10/2023:
This tree has now been cleared and the navigation is open. Boaters can proceed as normal
Update on 20/10/2023:
Due to the persistently poor weather conditions, our contractors will be unable to safely remove the fallen tree today.
Regrettably, underwater obstructions have made it impossible to guarantee safe passage, so the navigation will remain closed.
We will closely monitor the situation today and throughout the weekend.
An update to this notice will be posted by 5 pm on Monday, October 23rd, or sooner if we receive more information.
Update on 19/10/2023:
Our contractors are currently on-site. However, due to the size of the fallen tree, they’ve informed us that it’s unlikely they will be able to clear it today.
The plan is to remove some of the branches and debris, making it passable later this evening.
They will return to complete the removal tomorrow, and we will provide an update on the progress by 5pm tomorrow or as soon as we receive more information.
