We are pleased to advise that the obstruction has now been cleared and the towpath is open again at this location.

A large tree is blocking the towpath approximately 200 metres from the road bridge that goes over the GU Leicester line, towards the west portal of the Husband Bosworth tunnel.
Our local operations team will be attending site to determine whether they can clear it or if contractors will be required.
Please avoid this section of towpath until the tree has been cleared. We will update the notice by Friday 28th April
