The fallen tree has been removed and boaters can proceed as normal.
RESTRICTION (9am Thursday 17 August 2023 until further notice)
A tree has fallen from the offside of the canal between Wain Bridge (81) and Turnover Bridge (82) on The Leicester Line of the Grand Union Canal.
The tree and is partially blocking the navigation; however, narrowboats can pass with caution. Wide-beam boats will not be able to navigate until the tree is removed.
Contractors have been notifed and will be on site as soon as possible.
We will update this notice by the end of Friday 18th August.
