We are pleased to advise the obstructions have been removed from navigation and the canal is back open at Bridge 130, Sandygate Bridge, Burnley on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Bridge 130, Sandygate Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to an obstruction within the canal.
Our teams are currently organising for its removal and an update will be provided tomorrow, Wednesday 26 July.
