129A, Barracks Railway Bridge
RESTRICTION (7am-7pm Wednesday 14 June 2023)
Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite to carry out a detailed inspection of Bridge 129A, Barracks Railway Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
To be able to inspect the bridge, third-party contractors will deploy a small, inflatable, remotely controlled vehicle to the watercourse. This vehicle will be controlled from the canal towpath.
We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the equipment to be moved out the way for safe passage. We anticipate a wait of no longer than 30 minutes. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the onsite banksmen and to take note of the signage onsite.
