TOWPATH CLOSURE (1pm Wednesday 4 January 2023 until further notice)
Please be advised towpath access is closed between Bridge 141D, Hodge Bank and Bridge 142, Swinden Changeline Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool canal due to a third-party windblown tree.
Third-party contractors are expected to be onsite to remove the tree over the weekend period. Whilst navigation is not affected, we politely request all boating customers to pass through the area with care.
An update will be provided Monday 9 January.
