RESTRICTION (12noon Friday 9 September until 5pm Friday 16 September 2022)
Please be advised third party contractors will be onsite at Lock 51, Bottom lock on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
The third party contractors will be on site to repair the gas main sited within the grass verge just near to bottom lock 51 going towards the aqueduct.
For the safety of our customers, towpath users will be segregated from the works by appropriate fencing. Although the navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely ask our customers to take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third party contractors onsite.
