We are pleased to advise the repair to Bridge 20, Coxhead Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal has been successful and navigation has resumed.
Update on 21/10/2022:
Our contractors have been to site and assessed the damage caused to Bridge 20, Coxhead Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. Whilst our teams work on a method of repair, navigation will remain closed.
A further update will be provided Tuesday, 25 October.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (9am Friday 21 October 2022 until further notice)
Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Bridge 20, Coxhead Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to a vehicle strike.
Our contractors have been informed and are on their way to site.
An update will be provided this afternoon once the contractors have been to site and assessed a plan for repair.
