Tesco have commissioned Genco Construction Ltd to undertake trial investigation holes on Tesco land side to facilitate future works at this location.
The towpath in this area will be closed for 1 day (24.11.22) to help facilitate the works, however the diversion route in place is minimal. The closure is between Bridges 4 and 5 on the Lee Navigation.
Towpath closure signage including the diversion route map will be made clear on towpath signage and sign posted for canal customers.
Navigation will always remain unrestricted
