Further to the notice below, we are pleased to advise that repair works to the bottom gates of Benham Lock 82 are now complete, and the navigation is now open.
RESTRICTION (3.30pm Tuesday 5 September until 8am Saturday 9 September 2023)
Please be advised that due to repairs on the bottom gates of Benham Lock 82, we will require to drop water levels in the pound between Benham lock 82 and Higgs Lock 83. This is a temporary stoppage whilst we repair the substantial gap between the two gates on Benham Lock 82.
The water level will be low whilst the repairs take place. Please do not moor in this pound and clear by Friday morning.
Repairs will take place Friday morning the 8th, we intend to have this completed by the afternoon of the 8th.
