Windsor Road Pipe Bridge alongside Bridge 203 Windsor Bridge

RESTRICTION (8am Monday 4 September until 6pm Friday 8 December 2023)

Please be advised that contractors Penny Group will be working on behalf of Bath and North East Somerset Council to demolish the old gas pipe bridge that sits alongside Windsor Road Bridge.

They will be working in the area from 4^th September 2023 until 8th December 2023.

A work platform (pontoon) will be in the river at times during the works but the contractor will allow boaters through.

There may be a short delay to your journey.

The river navigation will be closed on the weekend of the 11^th – 12^th of November 2023 to remove the middle section of the pipe bridge.

There will be a towpath closure with a diversion in place from the 9^th October 2023 until the 30th November 2023 for 8 weeks.
