Update on 20/04/2023:
Please be advised that preparation for imminent work at Caen Hill Pumping Station, means that we must delay the opening of Crofton Flight on Friday 21st April.
Opening hours at Crofton for this one day, will be 14:00 – 19:00, after which we will revert to the times previously advertised.
This is necessary because it has proved impossible to make the temporary pump connections we need at Crofton, with the flight in use. We appreciate that this late notice will inconvenience and delay some customers, and sincerely apologise for the short notice.
RESTRICTION (9.30am Saturday 1 April until Friday 30 June 2023)
Please be advised that whilst work continues to finish construction of the new pumping station at Crofton, opening hours for Crofton and Wootton Rivers flights will be 09:30 to 15:30hrs each day until the end of June, this is to preserve water supplies and help recovery each day.
Please note that the Wootton Rivers and Crofton Lock Flights will be locked outside of these hours.
