South Towpath between Rotten Park Street to Rabone Lane Bridge, New Mainline
Intersection of: Rotton Park Junction Turnover Bridge to Rotton Park Junction Turnover Bridge on Icknield Port Loop and Lea Bridge, Turnover, Winson Green to Rabone Lane Bridge, Rabone Lane on New Mainline
Update on 30/06/2023:
Works on this section are still due to be complete on Friday 7th July.
Contractors will also commence work from Winson Green Bridge to Rabone Lane Bridge from Monday, 03/07/23 to 18/08/23, the notice for this can be found here.
Works will then commence on Rabone Lane Bridge to Main Line Turnover Bridge from 14/08/23 to 01/09/23, the notice for this can be found here.
Update on 07/06/2023:
Contractors have had to extend this closure date for this section by a week, making the end date Friday 7th July.
TOWPATH CLOSURE (until 5pm Friday 30 June 2023)
Unfortunately contractors had to close this section on Monday 29th May in order to remain on track with the original end date, which remains Friday 30th June.
The towpath from St Vincent Street to Rotten Park Street remains closed until the week commencing 05/06/23. Updates for this section will be posted here:
