Towpath closure – unstable wall
Starts At: Lock 32 East
Ends At: Bridge 53, Fishers Footbridge
TOWPATH CLOSURE (9.15am Tuesday 19 December 2023 until further notice)
The towpath between Lock 32 east and Bridge 53 is closed due to an unstable wall that could present a risk to towpath users.
Engineers are currently looking into who the land owner is who owns the wall and are looking to have it repaired
Access points onto the towpath are at Lock 31e & Bridge 54, Pig tail Bridge at the Lock 32 east side, for westward towpath use. Lock 29 east is the closest access point for Bridge 53..
