Up Stream Winding Hole: Below Lock 24, at Wool Road Carpark.
Down Stream Winding Hole: Outside Standedge Visitor Centre.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am Monday 8 January until 4pm Friday 1 March 2024)
After reviewing the post-Christmas stoppage programme, to reduce customer impact, we have now aligned this closure at Warth Mill embankment with the current, nearby, planned closure on the Diggle Flight. By bringing this closure forward to start on the 8 Jan 2024 we can now open the navigation on the 1 March 2024.
Please note the whole flight will be closed for water control reasons.
