Contractors are on site trying to remove the tree. We are therefore hoping to have navigation open by this afternoon.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (10am Wednesday 4 October 2023 until further notice)
A tree has fallen blocking navigation at Catherine-de-Barnes, 400 metres north of Bridge 78 on the Grand Union Canal.
Contractors have been contacted to remove the tree and any updates will be provided when available.
