Our Reactive Team have now completed a repair to the top gate failed balance beam.
Navigation to all craft is now open.
Update on 18/08/2023:
This is now a full navigation closure. Repairs are in place for tomorrow and we expect navigation to reopen at 15:30.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (1.15pm Friday 18 August 2023 until further notice)
Please be advised that there is a broken balance beam at Lock 26 – Three Locks Top Gate. This is on the towpath side.
Passage will be possible for narrowboats but there will be no access to widebeams.
Repairs will be arranged and updates will be provided when available.
