Contractors will be installing a porta dam to allow the inspection of Bowyer Street Feeder, a critical asset that feeds the 10-mile pound of the Grand Union Canal above Camp Hill Top Lock
The porta dam will be installed to dewater the outfall of the feeder at the basin next to Sampson Road Wharf, Canal & River Trust Service point. It will not affect the navigation through the lock.
Signage will be utilised to warn boaters of the works. We kindly remind customers to follow signage and directions given on site.
