Update on 12/05/2023:
Rrepairs to the handrail will be taking place on Monday 15th May. Navigation may be held up for short periods of time whist our team carry out the repairs needed to the bottom gate are undertaken

Please be advised that due to vandalism, the tow path hand rail is missing. Access across the the lock is restricted to top gates and adjacent road bridge only.
A repair to the gate handrail is now being planned.
