Elsan Near Bridge 91 Braunston

Update on 18/01/2023:

We are pleased to advise that we have had an update from our contractors and the Elsan has now been fixed.

Unfortunately, due to the current cold weather, we are now experiencing issues with the taps freezing.

Boaters are advised to use warm water on the taps, which should allow them to work.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Update on 18/01/2023:

We sincerely apologise for the delay in getting the Elsan fixed.

Our contractors have attended site and completed their assessment on what needs to be done. We have raised this job as highest priority and as soon as we have confirmation on when the required works will be carried out, we will update the website accordingly.

Unfortunately, the next Elsan along on the network has now broken down but this has also been escalated as another high priority job by our colleagues in the West Midlands region.

We completely understand our customers frustrations with regards to these facilities not working and please be assured we are doing all we can to have these sites operational again.

Update on 10/01/2023:

A further report has come to our attention that the Elsan is still not functioning at this location despite information that this was recently fixed.

We have requested that our contractors urgently visit the site to investigate the issue and resolve the problem as soon as possible.

An update will be posted to this website on the progress of the works as soon as we receive it.

The nearest alternative is at the Braunston Junction OX-036-004.

Update on 24/12/2022:

A Contractor has been to site and the Water supply has been isolated, the Elsan/Waterpoint is currently not available. The nearest alternative is at the Braunston Junction OX-036-004.

Update on 19/12/2022:

A further report has come in, and we believe the issue with the burst water pipe might be connected to the Elsan. An urgent job has been raised with our contractors which they aim to resolve within 24 hours, however, this has been escalated as a priority to be rectified today if possible. As soon as we have more information we will update the website accordingly.

Update on 19/12/2022:

A further report has quoted that this may be at the ELSAN. A job has been raised to establish this.
