The State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday 19 September. The King has announced that there is to be an official public holiday.
Our waterways will remain open for public use and navigation; however, we ask that boaters avoid using any locks, bridges or tunnels which require staffed operation unless absolutely necessary, and to book by 16.30hr on Friday 16th September for essential trips so that we can ensure Canal & River Trust staff are available to assist passage where essential.
Our customer service team will be available between 9am and 5pm to help with any enquiries and our teams will continue to provide an emergency on-call service.
