Near Lock 1, Torksey Lock
Update on 25/09/2023:
Testing of the pumps is scheduled for 28th September from approximately 10:30 until 14:30.
They have advised that these works are likely to see levels rise on the Fossdyke Canal.
Boaters will still be able to navigate, but are asked to proceed with care and to follow any advice given on site by either the Environment Agency our by our Trust representatives.
ADVICE (Monday 25 September until Thursday 28 September 2023)
The Environment Agency will be carrying out essential maintenance to their pumps at Torksey and will be testing the pumps at full capacity.
This is scheduled to take please between the 25th September until the 28th September.
