ADVICE (Monday 7 November until Friday 18 November 2022)
Contractors Land-Scope Limited (working on behalf of Severn Trent Water) will be carrying out topographical and hydrographic surveys of the canal between Bridge 22 (Awsworth Road Bridge) and Bridge 23A (Railway Bridge). The works will involve non-intrusive surveys using a range of equipment, including small manned and unmanned craft on the navigation.
Signage will be deployed, and the works will halt/move aside to allow the passage of craft on the navigation.
Please be aware of the works, and slowdown as necessary to allow surveyors time to move aside.
