Update on 29/09/2022:
Yorkshire Fire Service are no longer using the canal to extract water for the fire.
Water levels should have returned to the levels that they were before.
ADVICE (10.30am Wednesday 21 September 2022 until further notice)
Low water levels may be experienced on the section of the Chesterfield at Kiveton Park, due to Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service needing to extract water from the Canal.
Please ensure ropes are slackened.
We will update the notice when the Yorkshire Fire Service is no longer using the canal
