Fallen tree trunk in navigation – restriction at Thornhill Double Lock
Starts At: Lock 20, Double Lock Top
Ends At: Lock 21, Double Lock Bottom

The local team have retrieved the large branch, that it was found to be and removed it. .
The navigation is open for passage, however the flood gates are still locked due to high water levels.
Please adhere to the notices for the Aire & Calder and the Calder & Hebble regarding the flood gates.
RESTRICTION (11.45am Tuesday 14 November 2023 until further notice)
A large tree trunk has fallen across the navigation partially blocking it and is partly in the navigation too.
Crafts are able to pass by the tree in the navigation.
Contractors will be advised and will attend to the tree trunk as soon as possible.
The notice will be updated once the tree is removed.
