Lock 22, Millbank
Update on 12/07/2023:
Repairs have been completed and the navigation between Millbank Lock and Figure of Three Top Lock is now open for navigation.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (6am-4pm Wednesday 12 July 2023)
Navigation will be closed between Millbank Lock and Figure of Three Top Lock to allow the water level to be reduced slightly, allowing access to gate sluices that urgently require repair before they fail completely.
The work will take one day but if completed earlier the navigation will be reopened once water levels return to normal.
This notice will be updated when there is new information to report.
