Pipe bridge, between bridge 6. Cambrian Street road bridge and Beswick Aqueduct, Ashton Canal

Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite at the pipe bridge, between bridge 6 and the Beswick Aqueduct on the Ashton Canal.
The third-party contractors are working on behalf of Cadent gas. They will be erecting scaffolding to allow access for abrasive blasting of the pipe crossing followed by an application of paint.
Whilst the navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
