With a be-spoke shell built by the highly reputable Jonathan Wilson, Blue Point on her upon her completion was chosen to represent Warble at their 2002 Inland waterways Festival boat. And has to date lost none of her spender. Obviously her past and current owners have maintained Blue Point to a high standard, evidence of which is clear through the boats very smart exterior and interior condition. On board there is a well kept service history with details suck as blacking, including the base plate. Equally suited to residential, continuous crusing or simply peaceful holidays trips with friends and family. Blue Point offers the perfect balance of attractive features with with a high functional living space. There is a 88oAh bank of batteries, charged by the trusty Beta engine, and the onboard 2.5KW/ 100A Masterfault inverter/ charger which should be more than adequate to cater for domestic requirements, including the onboard fridge and microwave and a washing machine.

Fuel 45 gallons in integral tank
Twin alternators: 12V 45A alternator charges 1 x 74Ah engine battery 12V 95A alternator charges 220Ah cabin batteries. All batteries are maintenance free – charging also bt Mastevol 100A charger/inverter in multi stage automatic operation when landline is connected.
The cabin 12V system is protected by circuit breakers in a switched, labelled panel.
230V circuit installation with one landline connection – independent onboard 230V power from batteries via Mastervault 2.5kW pure sine wave inverter/charger. A manual switch ensures that only one 230V source is used at any one time. Protected by RCD

Windows and Doors
4 aluminium framed windows all 36in wide and 21in deep with 2 drop back hopper panels. The frames are gold anodised 12 x 12in brass portholes, 3 of which open. One bulls eye set in the cabin roof to give extra light inside. 2 x houdini skylights set in the cabin roof.
The forward bulkhead carries 2 x 8in diameter brass portholes. The forward and side doors carry steel skinned glazed doors with internal timber linings. Aft cabin doors traditionally panelled and painted. Removable clear panel for side doors.
9hp Nobels bow thruster powered by the cabin batteries. Batteries are charged by domestic alternator. Control is by push buttons at the helm.
Stern and Transmission
Engine flexibly mounted with R&D semi-flexiable coupling.
PRM 150 mechanical gearbox with 2:1 reduction to a Axiom prop
Weedhatch held down by quick-realease bar easily accessible through a steel hinged panel in aft deck.
Stern tube lubrication by remote screw greaser.
An electric blidge pump drains the stern tube sump.

Ballast: The under floor space (probably) contains concrete slabs
Insulation: The cabin is insulated with by spray pu foam behind all linings (expect under the floor)
Spray pu foam is widely recognised as the most thermally efficient form on insulation available for narrow boats, it is the only type that also acts as vapour barrier.
Hull: Lower hull sides coated with bitumen, blacked 2 years ago – Hull sides above topstrake finish in black enamel
Superstructure: Cabin sides, hand rails and roof painted in blue with cream coachlines, counter carries cream over red panels
Cabin sides carry traditional signwriting and scrolls, Aft doors are traditionally panelled and painted.

Furniture: Galley and shower room furniture is custom built oak with raised and fielded doors, galley and shower room worktops are laminated with tiled splash back – other furniture is custom built oak with flat panel oak doors.
