Salter’s Lode Lock Desilting Works
ADVICE (Friday 7 June 2024)
We are pleased to report that on Friday 07 June 2024 the Environment Agency completed clearing the silt blocking the entrance to Salter’s Lode Lock on the Tidal Great Ouse. This is following the completion of the desilting works at Denver Lock on Friday 31 May 2024.
Working together with Middle Level Commissioners (MLC) we aim for the link between our two navigations to reopen on Monday 10 June 2024.
This is subject to the MLC’s operational checks of Salter’s Lode Lock being successful over the weekend for further information please refer to the Middle Level Commissioners website.
