RESTRICTION (7am Monday 29 January until 6pm Saturday 3 February 2024)
Mariners are advised that during the period Monday 29th to Wednesday 31st January inclusive, at least for the daylight period, essential maintenance operations on the inner wall sluices will require a closure of the navigation. There is some flexibility in the works programme to allow any pre-arranged traffic to pass in/out of the dock.
Any vessels looking to book passage around this period should contact Sharpness Pierhead in the first instance to gain further advice.

The works will be conducted as quickly as possible, a follow-up notice will advise of any change to programme. This Local Notice to Mariners is self-cancelling on Saturday 3rd February 2024.
