Blisworth/Braunston tunnels
ADVICE (Friday 22 December 2023 until further notice)
All wide beam boat passage through Blisworth/Braunston tunnels must be booked in advance so that the tunnel can be closed to other boat traffic. This is managed at either end of the tunnel by colleagues or volunteers to ensure safe passage.
Passage for wide beam boats can be accommodated on a Tuesday and Thursday only, with a maximum capacity for four boats, two in either direction.
