Starts At: Bridge 41, Grub Street Bridge
Ends At: Bridge 40, Water Bridge
Up Stream Winding Hole: Rue Hill Winding Hole
Down Stream Winding Hole: Norbury Junction Winding Hole
Update on 14/12/2023:
We’re pleased to advise the tree has been cleared and navigation is open again.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (12noon Wednesday 13 December 2023 until further notice)
A large tree has fallen between bridge 40 & 41 on the Shropshire Union Canal, blocking navigation and the towpath.
Our contractors have been asked to remove the tree.
A further update will be issued Thursday 14th December.
