Western Portal of the Husbands Bosworth Tunnel
Update on 22/11/2023:
The tree has now been cleared and boaters can proceed as normal.
RESTRICTION (Tuesday 14 November 2023 until further notice)
A tree has fallen into the canal at the Western Portal of the Husbands Bosworth Tunnel, on the Grand Union Canal (Leicester Line).
Boats can still navigate past the tree, but are asked to proceed with care.
An urgent job has been raised with our contractors, for them to clear the tree.
We will update this notice by Friday 17th November, or as soon as we have further information.
