Lock 42 – North Lock
Update on 10/11/2023:
Water levels have now come back up and boaters can proceed as normal.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (Thursday 9 November 2023 until further notice)
There has been an unexpected drop in water levels between North Lock and Lime Kiln Lock on the River Soar.
Boaters cannot currently travel along this section.
The local team are doing water control to get the levels back up as quickly as possible.
We will update the website by 5pm tomorrow or as soon as we have further information.
