River Avon – Dredging
Starts At: Lock 6, Weston Lock
Ends At: Lock 1, Hanham Lock
ADVICE (8am Tuesday 14 November until 6pm Friday 22 December 2023)
Please be advised that dredging works are to be carried out on the River Avon at lock approaches between Weston Lock and Hanham Lock starting at Weston Lock on 14th November.
The works include removing silt from within lock chambers at Saltford and Swineford Locks.
The navigation will remain open, although boaters may experience delays of up to one hour.
Please pass through the working area with due care and follow the instructions of the crew as necessary.
