NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am Monday 6 November until 4pm Friday 22 December 2023)
The Trust has had to remove this work from this year’s winter works programme; after further investigation it was found that a new design solution is needed.
The work will be deferred to a future year to facilitate this review and further investigations.
The washwall is stable at present and will continue to be monitored. Temporary handrailing is in place, around the section of washwall and towpath which has moved, in order to manage the situation prior to the works being undertaken.
