Starts At: Bridge 13B, School Brow Footbridge
Ends At: Bridge 14, Hole House Fold Br
Update on 23/10/2023:
Please be advised the navigation remains closed between Bridge 13B and Bridge 14 on the Peak Forest canal due to a windblown tree.
Contractors have been informed and we anticipate their arrival tomorrow.
An update will be provided Tuesday 24 October.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (3.30pm Saturday 21 October 2023 until further notice)
A fallen tree is blocking the canal between Br 13B and Br 14 in Romiley.
Our team have cut back the tree to reopen the towpath but our contractors will be required to remove the tree from the navigation.
An update will be provided on Monday.
