Newark Basin Flood Gates
Update on 27/10/2023:
Water levels have started to come down and we have been able to open Newark Flood Gates. Boaters can now proceed with care.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (Friday 20 October 2023 until further notice)
Newark Flood gates have been closed. We advise users of all boats not to navigate because the strong flows make it difficult and dangerous (Locks may be closed)
