Please be advised navigation remains closed at Bridge 32, Crabtree Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to an issue with the batteries.
Our local team have been to site this morning and were unable to operate the bridge. Our specialist team are now on their way to site to investigate further and a further update will be provided this afternoon.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (12noon Monday 18 September 2023 until further notice)

Our specialist contractors have been to site and assessed the issue. The batteries will need time to recharge and a further update will be provided tomorrow, Tuesday 19 September
