We are pleased to advise the tree has now been removed from the offside of the Lancaster canal north of Bridge 76, Corless Bridge, Forton, and navigation has resumed without restriction.

Please be advised navigation remains restricted north of Bridge 76, Corless Bridge, Forton, on the Lancaster canal due to a fallen tree coming from the offside.
Our local team are expected to be onsite next week to remove the tree, and a further update will be provided by Friday 15 September.

Please be advised navigation remains restricted north of Bridge 76, Corless Bridge, Forton, on the Lancaster canal due to a fallen tree coming from the offside.
Due to limited resources, our local team are expected to be onsite within the next couple of weeks and a further update will be provided by Friday 8 September.
