Down Stream Winding Hole: Salford junction

The police have completed their search and navigation is open again.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am-2pm Wednesday 16 August 2023)
We’re having to close navigation between Perry Barr Lock 1 & Lock 7 on the Tame Valley Canal on Wednesday 16th August & Thursday 17th August. This is due to an ongoing Police investigation.
The navigation will be closed from 8am to 2pm only, on each day. The towpath will remain open.
