Above Lock 27
Update on 14/08/2023:
The water levels have improved and lock is operational.
The sunken boat is still present, there is sufficient room for boats to pass.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (until further notice)
A boat has sunk just above Lock 27 on the Rochdale Canal. Water levels are also low, so the lock will be closed today. An update will be issued tomorrow Monday 14th August 2023.
