The repairs have now been completed and lock is open.
Update on 27/07/2023:
The team have been able to access Milby Lock and repairs to the sluice shall be undertaken today.
The notice will be updated with the outcome of the repairs.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (11.45am Wednesday 26 July 2023 until further notice)
The sluice starts at Milby Lock have snapped, causing Milby Lock to be non operational.
Repairs will be carried out after the removal of the tree at Bridge 8, Boroughbridge Roundabout as the team will then be able to access Milby Lock.
We will update the notice when the lock is operational.
