Lock 17 – low water due to paddles not closed properly
Update on 27/07/2023:
The water levels have recovered sufficiently overnight and we have reopened Lock 17.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8.45am Wednesday 26 July 2023 until further notice)
There are low water levels at Lock 17 due to a paddle closed incorrectly.
We will close the navigation between Lock 17 and Lock 18 to allow the water levels in this section to replenish
The local team will work on filling this section and will reassess the water levels this afternoon.
We will update the notice when the water levels have recovered.
