Update on 12/06/2023:
Further to the notice below, we have now completed our inspection of Lock 29, Devizes Lock and have not been able to complete a repair today.
Further resource is required to enable a full and safe repair, items have been ordered to be delivered to site and work will start w/c 19th June.
This stoppage will mean that the Caen Hill flight from Lock 29, Devizes Lock through to Lock 44, Sir Hugh Stockwell will remain closed.
This notice will be updated in due course.
