Lock 2, Bellfurrows Lock
Update on 06/06/2023:
Engineers have attended and the underwater obstruction has been removed.
There has been no damage to the lock floor and it is reopened for passage.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (9am Saturday 3 June 2023 until further notice)
The navigation is closed at Bellfurrows lock due to a underwater obstruction in the centre channel just below the downstream gates.
Passage is not possible through the lock at this time, engineers will be attending on Monday to assess potential damage to the lock floor.
We will update this Notice on Monday 5th June,
