Lock 15
Update on 11/05/2023:
There has been a slight delay on the removal of the fabric dam, contractors have confirmed that the dams will now be removed on Saturday morning (13th May).
Update on 11/05/2023:
The main repairs which we used the fabric dams for, have now been completed and the contractors have confirmed that the fabric dams will be removed on Friday morning (12th May).
The canal will be reopened on Friday morning.
Update on 05/05/2023:
A fabric dam has been arranged and will be installed on Tuesday 9th May. We will then be able to assess the work that is required and make a start with repairs.
Update on 04/05/2023:
We are still working on an appropriate repair for Lock 15.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (5.45pm Wednesday 3 May 2023 until further notice)
Lock 15 has suffered a failure of both head gate paddles and is currently inoperable.
We will work to plan and undertake a repair as soon as possible and provide an update by the end of the day on Thursday 4th May 2023.
