Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite between bridge 49a, Scot Lane bridge and Lock 89 on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
The third party contractors team will be carrying out towpath surface improvements. Warning signage and barriers will be in place.
Although the navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the contractors onsite.
