Halfpenny Railway Bridge Refurbishment Works
RESTRICTION (8am Monday 27 March until 6pm Friday 12 May 2023)
Contractors are facilitating Network Rail, Undertaking refurbishment of the bridge. This will involve the use of temporary scaffolding and a pontoon, along with a fixed scaffold on the watercourse.
AMCO are refurbishing the structure on behalf of Network Rail and the temporary works are required to enable access to undertake the refurbishment and strengthening of the bridge.
Boaters and all other Navigation traffic who may be passing are advised of 20 minute delay. This is to enable the contractors to move the pontoon out of the way.
