RESTRICTION (8am-5pm Friday 24 March 2023)
Please be advised our local contractors will be onsite to carry out a detailed inspection of Bridge 91, Marsh Lane Bridge on the Shropshire Union Canal.
To be able to inspect the bridge, a pontoon and scaffold tower will be in place and passage through the bridge will be partially blocked, if not fully blocked temporarily whilst this is being installed..
We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the pontoon and equipment to be moved out the way for safe passage. Our towpath customers may be asked to wait until the contractors can make the area safe for them to pass.
We anticipate a wait of no longer than 30 minutes. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the onsite banksmen and to take note of the signage onsite.
